Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 81st General Convention rejoices at the election of The Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as the 28th Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church and congratulates him; and be it further 

Resolved, That we express gratitude for the discernment that led to his willing candidacy for his new role; and be it further 

Resolved, That the House of Deputies eagerly awaits our shared ministry in the governance of The Episcopal Church, and offers prayers for him leading up to November 1st and the installation at the Washington National Cathedral the next day.
