Resolved, that the House of Bishops, meeting at this 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Louisville, Kentucky, sends our greetings to Bishop Elizabeth Eaton, Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, assuring her of our prayers for God’s grace and strength for her in her ministry;

and further rejoices in our most recent agreement on the diaconate and the service of deacons in the ministry of our two Churches as yet another visible sign of the deeper unity between us.
