Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 81st General Convention celebrates the 85-year, life-changing legacy of Episcopal Relief and Development, since the creation of the Presiding Bishop’s Fund for World Relief in 1940; and be it further 

Resolved, That the House of Deputies extends its deep thanks and sincere gratitude to those who have offered support and care, as members of the Episcopal Relief and Development staff, its boards, and for all who have sustained the ministry through donations, prayer and volunteerism; and be it further 

Resolved, That this House of Deputies thanks its dioceses and congregations for continuing to respond to the urgent needs of our siblings across the globe by support of the ministry of Episcopal Relief and Development; and be it further 

Resolved, That the mission of Episcopal Relief and Development to protect children, empower women, adapt to the effects of climate change and respond to emergencies worldwide be our guidepost as we live into our Baptismal Covenant to protect the dignity of every human being.
