Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 81st General Convention celebrates the juncture of the Episcopal Dioceses of Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan, and gives gratitude to all the members of the Building Bridges Steering Committee who worked diligently and tirelessly to bring about the consent for juncture between the two dioceses; and be it further

Resolved, That the House expresses gratitude to those who organized the Listening Sessions throughout both dioceses to foster the sharing of information across congregations; and be it further

Resolved, That we express gratitude to the organizers of the Season of Practice whose purpose was to begin the process of working together; and be it further

Resolved, That we express gratitude to all the people of the dioceses of Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan for their willingness to enter into this new entity to be known as the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes.
