Resolved, That the House of Bishops, meeting at this 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Louisville, Kentucky, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America and President of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops; 

and further, rejoicing in the long and significant relationship that has existed between the Orthodox Church and the Anglican Communion, looks forward to a renewed and deepening relationship between our Churches as a visible expression of the vocation of the Church to the ministry of reconciliation and to the unity of all in Christ; 

and further assures the Assembly of our ongoing prayers for the healing of the current sad and difficult divisions within the communion of the Orthodox Churches.
